Implementing Integrated Data Governance at The Carlyle Group

We are pleased to announce that Edie Ashton, Principal, Global Technology & Solutions and Danielle Cuteri, Associate Vice President, Fund Management, The Carlyle Group will present at the upcoming MDM & Data Governance Summit San Francisco on June 8-10, 2016.

The Carlyle Group is a global alternative asset manager with $183 billion of asset under management. There are multiple facets to their business: investment vehicles that span four segments and multiple industries, a global workforce, and multiple compliance regimes to navigate.

This multifaceted environment meant that The Carlyle Group needed a comprehensive data governance program that would both enforce consistency across their business domains and integrate with master and reference data management as well as entitlements and access management initiatives.

This keynote presentation will cover, how The Carlyle Group:

  • Designed a holistic data governance program,

  • Manages their business glossary, data dictionary, and data lineage, and

  • Integrates data governance with master and reference data and initiatives in entitlements and access management.

When? Thursday, June 9, 2016 - 2:00 - 2:45
