Updated: Jun 12, 2018

We are pleased to announce that Bruno Billy, MDM Manager at TechnipFMC and Conrad Chuang, Director, Solutions Strategy at Orchestra Networks will deliver a keynote at the upcoming MDM & Data Governance Summit San Francisco on Wednesday, October 11, 2017.

Leveraging Enterprise Multi-Domain MDM in Multi-Year Merger Endeavor

TechnipFMC (recent merger of the two companies) is a $20B Oil and Gas engineering, project management and manufacturing enterprise. MDM is vitally important to the successful merger between Technip's Oracle ERP footprint and FMC's SAP ERP footprint. While the initial scope was to deliver consistent project reporting, today MDM at TechnipFMC is company-wide. Where is the program today? How did analytics & operations improve? Is data seen as an asset? In this session, the Group MDM Manager at TechnipFMC will provide a practitioner's view of how a truly enterprise-wide, multi-domain MDM impacts the business. Domains include: Reference Data, Product, Supplier and Employee/HR. Learn about the strategy and principles implemented, the program tipping points, results achieved and lessons learned.Topics to be discussed include:

  • Applying lessons learned from 6 years of achievements driving an enterprise-wide multi-domain MDM program spanning 48 countries

  • Turning "data as an asset" vision into a reality

  • Improving stakeholder confidence via consistent/accurate master data & hierarchies (verify/audit at any time)

Wednesday, October 11 - 11:45am-12:30pm.
