TD Ameritrade to share best practices in data governance at MDM/DG Summit on October 6th in New York
Jeff Gentry, Director for Enterprise Data Governance, and Jim Keevins, Director or Enterprise Data Architecture, will share best practices in a session entitled: Better Data Governance through Better Reference Data at the Master Data Management and Data Governance Summit (MDM/DG) on Monday October 6th at 3:15pm in New York, NY. MDM/DG is being held at the Sheraton Times Square from October 5-7th.
Messrs Gentry and Kevins will address will provide concrete advice on how to:

Mr. Gentry is responsible for data governance and demand management for enterprise data services at TD Ameritrade, reporting to the Chief Data Officer. In this role, he ensures that TD Ameritrade makes increasingly better decisions about data across the company. His business product management responsibilities for data include master data management, metadata management, data quality, data-as-a-service, data virtualization, and other solutions. During his diverse career in marketing and data management across many industries, Mr. Gentry has become a leading authority on gathering, managing, and using customer information, helping companies large and small to gain competitive advantage and improve profits.
