Orchestra Networks participated in the race of heroes
Orchestra Networks participated on Sunday, June 17, 2018, in the race of heroes in Lyon, France. This race is a major fundraising event for various associations in France. It has already raised more than 12 million euros through the help of individuals and companies. The event is open to all, whether you are sporty or not since it offers 3 types of races: 2K, 6K or 10K.
The race takes place every year in Paris and Lyon. This race is a true gathering around associations and charities of general interest. This year, Orchestra has been supporting the association called Avenir Dysphasie Rhône. This association helps families with children with dysphasia. Dysphasia is a primary language impairment
“With our family, we participated for the first time in this race for the association Avenir Dysphasie Rhône, and more particularly for our daughter. Dysphasia is a condition that affects just over 1% of the population. It is a severe permanent structural disorder that affects verbal capabilities. Dysphasia results in learning difficulties and a high attentional cost to follow a conversation. Our family has raised 1,190 € (we were honored to be named Super-Heroes!), directly donated to the association. Thanks to the funds raised during this event, the association will be able to support dysphasic children and their families through various actions. We want to thank Orchestra Networks for sponsoring this great cause, allowing us to participate in a friendly event where special needs are brought to light and celebrated in a beautiful state of mind.” Laure C.
