Updated: Jun 11, 2018

Orchestra Networks is pleased to announce that its data management solution, EBX, has received EIDR Ready certification from the Entertainment Identifier Registry Association, http://eidr.org, as part of their EIDR Ready Program.

The Entertainment Identifier Registry Association is a not-for-profit industry association that was founded to meet the need for universal identifiers for a broad array of audio visual objects, everything from top level titles, edits, and DVDs, to encodings, clips and mash-ups. The association, operates their eponymous registry which stores the universal unique identifier system for movie and television assets.

The EIDR Ready program is designed to spotlight companies in the media and entertainment supply chain and EIDR ecosystem that have passed the Association’s certification process. Other initial qualifiers include Allocine/Webedia, Aspect, Crown Media, FilmTrack, ITV plc, Mediamorph, My Eye Media, Rightsline, The Title Registrar, V2 Solutions and Verance.

“We are pleased to be recognized as among the first as providing an ‘EIDR Ready’ solution”, said Christophe Barriolade, CEO, Orchestra Networks. Our EBX software is used throughout the industry for managing title metadata and supporting other data management requirements. Working with EIDR we have been able to extend our solution to provide the benefits of EIDR lookup and registration as an integral part of Title metadata management processes.
