EBX.Platform allows to manage roles, users, rights and security rules that govern the MDM repository.

Based on a directory (internal or external - for example LDAP), EBX.Platform allows to define access profiles to the MDM and to configure rights on each action, each object or even each attribute. Rights managements automatically interprets data models.

In addition, EBX.Platform provides security and tracability features.

Key Features

Directory

Definition of roles and users. Pre-configured roles (administrator, read-only).

Connection to an external directory

API for connection/synchronization with an external directory (for example LDAP).

Rights of MDM Repository

Configuration of access rights on branches (see Life Cycle Management).

Rights on Master Data

Configuration of rights on actions (create, update, delete, validate) and on each object and attribute.

Rights Delegation

Delegation of rights between roles and users.

Audit and tracability

Automatic generation of an XML audit trail. All events are logged, for example: timestamp, user, action, value before, value after..

Security

Support of Web security standards (SSL/HTTPS). EBX.Platform repository can use database security options (depend of database deployed for physical persistence).
