Orchestra Networks joins Informatica INFORM Partner Program
Orchestra Networks focus on delivering MDM solutions
Paris, France and Redwood City, California - April 22, 2008.
Orchestra Networks, a
leading provider of Master Data Management software, and Informatica Corporation
(NASDAQ: INFA), the leading independent provider of data integration solutions, today
announced the formation of a partnership to address the fast-growing MDM market.
Additionally, Orchestra Networks is now a member of Informatica's INFORM worldwide
partner program.
Building a central Master Data Management system requires not only modeling and managing reference data but also to integrate them across the Information System. Thanks to this partnership, companies can deploy both Orchestra Networks and Informatica software solutions to build a true end-to-end MDM system and conduct Enterprise-wide Data Governance initiatives:
- Data Management. Orchestra Networks' EBX.Platform is a cross-domain MDM
software tool. The EBX.Platform can absorb any type of master data model and
provide key data management features such as life cycle management, role-based
security, end-user workflow or hierarchy management.
- Data Profiling. Informatica's data integration platform has data analysis and profiling
capabilities to help customers understanding how master data housed in existing
disparate systems relates to one another and to the MDM application and to MDM
application implementations.
- Data Quality. Informatica's data integration platform has data correction and
cleansing capabilities enabling MDM application implementations to meet business
needs by delivering high quality data to the MDM application.
- Data Integration. Informatica's data integration platform has robust data access and transformation capabilities, which accelerate MDM application implementations by providing the right master data in the right format.
"We are delighted to be a member of Informatica's INFORM worldwide partner program," said Christophe Barriolade, CEO of Orchestra Networks. "Our joint customers understand they can deploy best-of-breed MDM systems based on complementary, standard-based software solutions".
"This partnership demonstrates Informatica's commitment to working closely with complementary software partners," said Harry Gould, senior vice president, worldwide alliances, Informatica. "We are pleased to be able to provide an enterpriseclass data integration foundation that enables the MDM applications to integrate with the existing business systems."
