Context
A leading healthcare company launch an MDM initiative in order to better manage all reference data used by its research & development business unit. R&D of healthcare products is based on key master data such as chemical formulas, projects, laboratories, testing population.
The main challenge of this project was to build a unique R&D MDM that can be used securely by all research teams. While R&D master data are highly confidential, MDM solution had to provide key security features such as enterprise directory connection, role- based security, audit trail or approval workflow.
