We're pleased to announce that Jae Lee, Manager, Information Asset and Conrad Chuang, Director, Solutions Strategy at Orchestra Networks will present "Data Governance in a Box with EBX5" at Data Governance Financial Services on Thursday, September 8 at 11:45am.

In this lively presentation, Jae Lee, from Information Asset, and Conrad Chuang, from Orchestra Networks, will demonstrate an implementation of Information Asset’s comprehensive data governance operating model (“Data Governance in a Box”) in Orchestra Networks’ EBX5.  “Data Governance in a Box” is being used by many large Financial Services organizations as the basis for operationalizing enterprise data governance programs.

The session will highlight the implementation of governance workflows as a foundation for  enterprise data governance, covering:

  • Hierarchical business glossaries, taxonomies and ontologies
  • Data standards and critical data elements
  • Data Sharing Agreements and corresponding Data SLAs
  • Technical metadata
  • Data quality rules, scoring and dashboards

Speakers

Jae Lee
Manager, Information Asset

Jae Lee is a Manager at Information Asset and has held previous roles in which he was responsible for managing financial data at the enterprise and divisional levels within the context of regulatory and governance programs. With his combined background in finance/accounting and computer science, Mr. Lee brings significant context in helping organizations define and adopt data management best practices in alignment with an organization’s needs. He has leveraged his experience to champion systematic methodologies for promoting organizational efficiency and agility and has led multiple efforts to design and create programs to formalize processes for data management. As a consultant, Jae has been building out solutions to enable clients to bring theory into practice.  He has also authored datasheets providing readable content to highlight key factors and effective measures to help companies grow in their data governance maturity.

Conrad Chuang
Director Solutions Strategy, Orchestra Networks

Conrad Chuang is Director of Solutions Strategy at Orchestra Networks where he is responsible for defining and positioning the company’s industry-aligned solutions for Data Governance, Master Data Management, and Reference Data Management in Financial Services. Mr. Chuang is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and events where he brings significant insight into the data governance and data management challenges facing the industry today based on his working relationships with firms spanning banking, brokerage, alternative investment management, and other Financial Services sectors. He received his BS in Economics and Masters of Arts in International Commerce & Policy from George Mason University, followed by his MBA in High Tech Marketing & Finance from Babson College’s Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
