New solution delivers enterprise-level dimension management for Oracle Hyperion EPM Applications
LONDON, October 23, 2012 — At the 2012 UK Oracle Users’ Group EPM & Hyperion Conference, the largest UKOUG event for Hyperion users in the UK and Europe, Orchestra Networks announced general availability of MDM for Oracle Hyperion EPM.
This new solution from Orchestra Networks is a single platform for managing all your dimensions and hierarchies. With built-in Oracle Hyperion models and unique hierarchy customization and management features – MDM for Hyperion provides the tools that finance departments need to maintain dimensional consistency across organizational level, time and their Oracle Hyperion EPM applications.
Critical to finance departments, dimensions are used to identify and roll-up analytical or transactional data. Examples of dimensions include: charts of accounts, organization or cost center structures, legal entity & ownership hierarchies or product hierarchies. Dimensions and hierarchies are often are managed in spreadsheets, custom solutions or technical tools.
This reliance on distributed, manual tools leads to errors, inconsistency and lack of governance throughout the enterprise.
“Many of our global customers rely on Oracle Hyperion EPM for financial reporting and planning. They came to us and described the need for a solution that could help them manage dimensions across organizational levels, time and multiple Oracle Hyperion EPM applications. The result of those discussions is our new solution.” said Christophe Barriolade, President & CEO of Orchestra Networks. “We are proud to present this easy to use, end-to-end solution at the UKOUG EPM & Hyperion conference and demonstrate how it can improve the efficiency of finance teams.”
