Leading Agricultural Cooperative, Acolyance, Selects Orchestra Networks’ EBX5 Software to Improve Quality and Governance of Master Data

EBX5 to provide foundation for new master data management initiative

Paris, September 30, 2013. Orchestra Networks, a leading multidomain Master and Reference Data Management (MDM/RDM) solution provider, today announced that Acolyance, a leading agriculture and wine cooperative in France, has selected EBX5. Acolyance, with revenues of over €522M, processes more than 1.5 million tons of agricultural products annually, and serves a network of 3,500 agriculture members and 7,000 wine producers.

EBX5 will support a MDM program for the management of Acolyance’s “Parties” data including: customer, member, partner, and supplier data. Acolyance’s MDM initiative will support its growth and enhance the responsiveness and quality of its relationships with all parties with which it does business.

Following a rigorous technology selection process, Acolyance selected two partners to deliver its MDM solution:

  • Orchestra Networks’ EBX5 software was selected for its demonstrated multidomain capability, providing the ability to model, manage and connect any type of master and reference data. This choice ensures that Acolayance will have a foundation to address the needs of current and future projects.
  • Apgar Consulting, an MDM consulting and implementation services company specializing in EBX5 project delivery, will provide implementation services.

Through the implementation of a unified MDM hub, Acolyance will benefit from a centralized governance solution for customers, members, partners, and suppliers. End users across the enterprise will have access to an intuitive user interface with data authoring and validation features. EBX5 will be integrated with Acolyance’s business applications to ensure consistency and improve the quality of the data used conduct business.

“We were looking for an MDM solution that could adapt to our business and that would be rapidly adopted by our business users”, said Stéphane Jankowiak, CIO at Acolyance. “With Orchestra Networks and Apgar Consulting we have found two experienced partners with a demonstrated record of success with their customers”.

“We are proud to welcome Acolyance as our newest customer. Acolyance is a key player in an industry that generates 4.5% of France’s GDP”, said Florian Michaud, Sales Director at Orchestra Networks. “Master Data Management is becoming a ‘must-have’ for companies such as Acolyance that rely on high quality data for business effectiveness”.
