For Immediate Release, 18th March 2008. Orchestra Networks, a leading provider of Master Data Management Software, today announced the launch and immediate availability of its EBX Data Services. This new feature of the EBX.Platform allows organisations a greater opportunity for integrating their MDM in Service Oriented Architectures.
EBX.Platform is generic, cross-domain Master Data Management Software that can model and manage any type of Master Data. Based on the XML Schema standard, EBX.Platform absorbs enterprise data models and provides a set of core data management features such as version control, governance, validation or end-user workflow.
EBX Data Services expose core MDM features as standard Web Services. These services are dynamically generated from data models and provide access to wide range of operations such as data update, queries or version management.
“Master Data Management is becoming a key component of Service Oriented Architectures. Achieving high quality SOA without high quality data or data governance is flawed!,” said Pierre Bonnet, consulting director at Orchestra Networks. “EBX Data Services guarantee our customers standard access to their reference data repository and seamless integration with their Information Systems”.
Immediately available, EBX Data Services is provided into EBX.Platform version 4.3. The software can be downloaded for evaluation at http://www.orchestranetworks.com.
